Gennaker with Snuffer

All our Tiki 30's, Tiki 38's and the Hitia 24 come with a gennaker as part of the standard sail inventory.

A gennaker is a very versatile sail which is extremely useful in light weather conditions or if you have a desire to go really fast in conditions with more wind. It can be used from a reach down to a dead run. A gennaker (correctly named Asymmetric Spinnaker) needs no booms, uphauls, downhauls and further paraphernalia like a "normal" spinnaker. It is therefore very easy and fun to use.

Setting and dousing is done in seconds and is further facilitated by a "snuffer". For the deployment of the gennaker see the pictures below.
